The Oreides is the upgraded version of Zaibach's Alseides mass-production Guymelef. Like the Alseides, the Oreides is mass-produced in factories, rather than built by hand like most Guymelefs.
The only largely noticeable difference between the Oreides and the Alseides is the Oreides increased shoulder and chest armor as well as the large crest on the back. Another difference is that the Oreides utilizes eight Dragenergists (albeit six of which are small in size) as opposed to the Alseides' two. This most likely means that the Oreides has a higher power output and can move faster, stay active longer and use more powerful weaponry.
The Oreides first appeared in episode 23 of the anime, after which is appeared in the remaining episodes. Its only two known pilots are Dilandau Albatou and Jajuka.
