The Vision of Escaflowne (game) is a 1997 action-adventure video game developed by Bandai Games for the Sony PlayStation and based on the anime. The plot diverges from the series and features different animated full-motion video cutscenes; for instance, Van and Hitomi are transported to Tokyo and fight Dilandau there. It also features new characters, such as Hitomi's classmate Mizuru who operates a Guymelef, and a female Zaibach commander named Refina.

The game was released in both standard and limited editions. The limited edition featured differently-colored box art, a small artbook, and a deck of 26 tarot cards based on those seen in the series.

Having never been released outside of Japan, the game is relatively rare. It has not received an English localization or a complete fan translation. Hoodiemonkey on Tumblr began translating the game in May 2014 but only completed one video's worth of translation.
